1. Local Data Storage (Offline First)

Kiosk Mate is designed as a 100% offline, local-first application. We do not collect, transmit, or store your inventory, sales, customer data, or payment records on any external servers or clouds. All data you enter into the App is stored securely and exclusively on your local device.

2. Device Permissions

To provide core Point of Sale (POS) and inventory functionalities, the App requests the following device permissions:

• Camera: Used strictly for scanning product barcodes to add items to your cart or inventory. The camera feed is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted online.
• Storage / Media: Used to save product images you select and to generate and store PDF receipts for your customers.

3. Third-Party Services

Because the App operates completely offline, we do not integrate third-party analytics, trackers, or advertising SDKs that harvest your data.

4. Data Security & Backups

Because your data is stored locally on your device, you are solely responsible for its security. We recommend securing your device with a PIN or biometric lock. If you uninstall the App or lose your device, your Kiosk Mate data will be permanently deleted unless you have made a manual backup of your device.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
